Diocese of Joliet Catholic Schools
Crisis Communication Plan
Diocese of Joliet Catholic Schools Office was founded in 1949 to provide formation in the Catholic faith as well as superior academic education to students of diverse backgrounds. There are currently 7 early learning centers, 48 elementary schools, 7 high schools and 3 universities under the umbrella of the Catholic Schools Office. The client reached out to our team looking for help to create a Crisis Communication Plan for its schools.
The plan consisted on guidelines, protocols and forms to assist teachers and staff in case of emergency of crisis. Each section of the publication had a different icon and was colored to make it easy to find the information needed. The appendix section contained detachable forms to allow reproduction and distribution between the staff.
My role as a graphic designer ranged from developing creative layout concepts, creating iconography, selecting typography and building out the publication. Our team consisted of a creative director, account director, account associate and graphic designer.
